So, if youвЂ™re looking for a more factual and true to life representation of firefighting, this documentary is a must watch. This is a slightly different film than the rest on the list as itвЂ™s actually a documentary. Always shows the risk that firefighters take and the heartbreak they leave behind when it all goes wrong. What this film lacks in suspense, it certainly makes up for in drama. Unfortunately for Pete, his new protege falls madly in love with his old flame (Audrey Hepburn). It also stars the legendary Audrey Hepburn in her final film role.ДЇollowing the death of risk-taking aerial firefighter Pete (portrayed by Richard Dreyfuss), he returns as a ghost to inspire a new firefighter to follow in his footsteps.

Although it features a heavily fictionalized account of Mrs OвЂ™LearyвЂ™s life, the filmвЂ™s epic action scenes make this an entertaining watch. In Old Chicago (1938)ДЄs the oldest film on this list, In Old Chicago stands out for its epic climax - which made it the most expensive film ever made at the time.Д«ased on one of the most infamous fires in history - the Chicago Fire of 1871 - the film depicts the event which claimed 300 lives and caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.ДЄccording to legend, the fire started after a cow in Mrs OвЂ™LearyвЂ™s barn knocked over the lanterns.
